Community Radios

The project ensured that these community radio stations could become more gender-sensitive and inclusive. Given that this is the first time Zimbabwe has licensed community radio stations.

Ending Sexual Harassment in the Media Sector

  • Research and Analysis to assess gaps – to provide evidence-based support to media houses, GMC has conducted nationwide research with print, broadcast, and digital media to assess existing policies and procedures aimed at addressing sexual harassment. The research will be used to support media houses in developing policies and procedures that align with the industry’s sexual harassment policy and effectively address the issue.
