The ward experienced drought, this past rainy season. People can hardly fend for their families.

As a LCCW in ward 8 working under the department of social services, I have spoken to all the 29 village heads and 700 households receiving maize from social welfare.

Each household is contributing a 5litre tin of maize from there 50kg bag per month from the department of social welfare.

175 buckets of maize are being realized through this exercise which we then give to those not benefiting from the social welfare, but in dire need. This exercise is helping  a  lot and  social welfare has uploaded this move

All our village heads are in support of this exercise, it is helping a lot. Our people will, die of hunger,
